Scooter Boy

rantang...tang...tang...tang...

yea... this is it, my first scooter!!! call her Retno, an oldschool Vespa Super Sprint '67 toned in glossy black n white... so simple, so sexy, so beautiful!!! tapi sayangnya sekarang lagi di bengkel, bangku shock breaker belakangnya pecah, doh! somehow pas buru-buru mau ke kantor, si Retno agak seret pas dituntun keluar rumah. malemnya aku coba paksa dia nungging dan ternyata shock breaker belakang udah oblak... terpaksa ga bisa muter-muter kota sambil tebar pesona dulu tiap sore sampe si semok sehat lagi, cepet sehat ya, Retno... :'(

Melukis Hadirmu

aku melukis dirimu
di dinding hatiku
untuk mengganti sepi
ketidakhadiranmu di sini

[di kantor waktu bosen gambar peta padahal deadline tiga hari lagi, Subulussalam 29 Oktober 2010]

Bukan Sebatas Kata

Mungkin sekarang kamu yang udah gak mau peduli lagi ma aku, tapi aku peduli ma kamu, kalo kamu pikir aku nyerah sekarang, kamu salah.

Orang Itu Masih Kamu

kalo kamu tanya aku, aku gak tau jawabnya. entah kita yang mesti mencari cinta, entah cinta yang akan datang menemukan kita, yang pasti aku percaya selalu ada cinta untuk kita semua. dan untukku, kamu...

Tatto Designs - Kanji Style

Tattoos are used for uniqueness, religious reasons, and also for good luck, happiness, and love. When you decide to get a tattoo for luck, happiness or love, you always think of foreign languages. Everything we do in today's life is related to our culture, so, for a change, you think of foreign words that give you luck and more. One of those foreign style is called Kanji that contains Japanese text. If you think about it, there is a stereotype about getting Japanese letter printed as they look cool and very different from the everyday tattoos. The Kanji style tattoos are always written in vertical manner because there is no other way to write Japanese.

All different kanji tattoos have different meanings. You can get a tattoo describing your personality, something that brings you luck or even just your name in Japanese. Finding what kanji tattoo is the best for you is the hardest part. You can find some kanji designs on the internet, but if you want the real deal, you can always go on to the Tattoo Review site, where they offer the reviews of the best tattoo design sites that offer your unique Kanji Style tattoo design. The site also compares the prices and quality of the site, so that you can get the tattoo design at the best deal.

Famous celebrities from all around the world get these Kanji style tattoos, so they can be more lucky, happy and more in love. One of those many famous celebrities is Victoria Beckham, wife of David Beckham and the owner of Victoria's secrets. She has a Kanji style tattoo on the back of her neck. Another world famous celebrity with a Kanji style tattoo is Britney Spears, who has a kanji style tattoo on the back of her neck. One last, but not the least, celebrity who has a kanji tattoo is Pink. She has a kanji tattoo above her left ankle for luck.

After learning this much about Kanji Style tattoos, I believe that now it is time for you to get your own tattoo. The best part after getting a kanji tattoo is that everybody is going to start asking you for the meaning of your tattoo and you can tell them anything you want.

Tatto Ideas: Lettering

Avid readers, musical lyricists, and lovers of the written word alike I'm sure will agree there is nothing more beautiful or inspiring than a sequence of words flowing across one's body. In my Hub Tattoo Ideas: Words & Phrases I discussed how to decide what tattoo to get and where to get some ideas from. The next step is choosing the lettering, the size and the placement.

Whether you want small words on your wrist or a sonnet spanning the length of your entire back, you've got to be careful when working with fine print. Words can only be shrunk to a certain size when it comes to tattooing. If they are too tiny and too close together, they will blur over time and end up smudging together. Trust your tattoo artist. He'll advise you as to what a good size is.

Graffiti writing isn't just for bridges and brick walls anymore. Many graffiti artists design their own tattoos and will get their real name, their artist's name, or their crew's name inked onto their skin.Be careful with large lettering and huge, prominent letters. Of course there are always exceptions to the stereotype, but thick, massive letters tend to only look good on a man's chest, abdomen, or across the top of his back spanning from shoulder to shoulder; women can usually only pull off large letters if they're on her upper back. One of the most popular fonts is Old English, an angular family of black letter type with a Gothic feel. There are dozens of Old English variations, but your tattoo parlor will have a book with a good deal of samples to choose from.Keep in mind also that the words do not just have to stand alone freely. You can incorporate a word or phrase into a banner held between the beaks of two sparrows, in the stardust that trails behind a shooting comet, or in a band wrapping around your arm and accentuated by a tribal design surrounding the letters.

Sleeve Tattoo Ideas and Designs

A sleeve tattoo basically refers to any type of tattoo that completely covers the skin in the mentioned area. Typically sleeve tattoos are done on the arms and they can come in a variety of lengths. A full sleeve tattoo being form the shoulder blade all the way down to the wrist. A half sleeve then is from the shoulder to the elbow and a quarter sleeve is typically from the elbow to the wrist.

The word sleeve comes from clothing and it is a direct relation to the area on a shirt you call a sleeve that covers your arms. Therefore a sleeve tattoo essentially covers your arm as a shirt sleeve would. However, in a lot more artistic style and flair!

1. Flame Tattoo Sleeves- These can often work as part of a larger full sleeve tattoo. The flames typically start down at the wrist area and then move up the forearm. As you get towards the top or shoulder area other tattoos and designs can be incorporated.

2. Tribal Tattoo Sleeve - These are very popular options when choosing tattoo sleeves as the bold, thick and dark lines look great form a distance. There of course are many different tribal tattoos and a long history of tattooing among many native cultures. For example you might choose to get a Hawaiian tribal tattoo or something from the Maori tribe. No matter what tribe and design you decide tribal designs bold features often make a great option for a sleeve tattoo.

3. Celtic Notwork Sleeve Tattoos - Celtic notwork ofter makes a great design. These are very intricate tattoos with a ton of detail and interweaving lines. Therefore they are well suited for the larger canvas area of a full sleeve tattoo.

4. Floral Patterns Tattoos - Often for women especially but sometimes men also a floral pattern tattoo can look very tricking.

5. Traditional Japanese Tattoo Designs - The Japanese have a rich history of tattooing and the art form has risen to the top among tattoo designs. These intricate designs often have very deep symbolic meanings and are very beautiful! They are also very exotic for westerns and unique making for a great combination for a full sleeve tattoo.

These are just a few of the ideas for a sleeve tattoo and what you choose should be entirely up to you and based on what you value and want to express about yourself. Do not ever get a tattoo because you saw some Hollywood celebrity with that design. Instead find something that speaks to you and has power and symbolic meaning behind it!

Flower Tattoo Placement ,Flower designs and tattoo photos on men

While women prefer flower tattoos more than men, I have noticed a different between men and women when they are inked with a flower.

In general, men seem to bunch them more together and eschew the leaner, longer, scrolling flower tattoo, while women embrace that more.

As always, there are exceptions to that rule, but it does show in the tattoos as a pattern.

More than likely that's connected to the theme itself, and the overall lines to a woman's body, which makes it work more, and accentuates her femininity.

There are temporary tattoos for almost any type of tattoo design today, but flowers have a particularly strong representation in temporary tattoo design, and are a great way to try before you buy, in the sense that a tattoo is permanent.

Why take a risk like that when it's so easy to put a temporary tattoo where you want it and close to the color and flower type or style?
Flower tattoos work with many tattoo theme combination

Flower tattoos work great with other tattoo themes, and so are good candidates for combination like butterfly tattoos, dragonfly tattoos, fairy tattoos, dragon tattoos, among a host of others.

So it also has the potential to be added on to and developed if you have that desire, while it also serves as a standalone tattoo if you decide to stick with that alone.

They are among the most versatile tattoos because of how they can be added to almost any theme, which will keep them highly desirable and in demand.

Vampire tattoo humor Vampire skull tattoo Tattoo with vampire skull

I like the vampire tattoo above because of the caricature qualities of it. Those eyes on the vampire and the victim are great, and I think are hilarious.

The designer of this tattoo had a great sense of Hume and style, and it's definitely one of the more unique tattoos I've seen.
Vampire skull tattoo
Tattoo with vampire skull

I wanted to finish up the vampire tattoo article with this vampire skull tattoo. This is great. Who would have thought of the idea of finding a dead vampire and what it would look like to have a skull of them tattooed on your body. Pretty cool.

As you can see, even though the vampire tattoo theme seems limited, it's only as limited as the imagination of the people designing them, and they've come up with an extraordinary variety of looks within the vampire theme. Pretty cool if you like the idea of a vampire being tattooed on you.

Wedding Ring Tattoos: Best Modern, Celtic, Religious Finger Tattoos

Wedding Ring Tattoos

Modern-day married or engaged couples have one interesting wedding ring option that their parents probably would be scandalized to imagine and their grandparents probably wouldn't even have known about: wedding ring tattoos.

Tattoos are also, for the most part, a permanent choice, so wedding band tattoos can be a way for devoted couples to prove that their marriage is truly for better or for worse. In an age when the divorce rate is 50%, this can be a refreshing change of perspective for married couples. These wedding tattoos can also be as dramatic or as unobtrusive as you want - some people conceal them under normal wedding rings during the day, and others like their finger tattoos to be visible at all times.

Below, I present some of the most beautiful/thought-provoking/unique tattoos that I have been able to find. Enjoy!

Vampire tattoos growing in popularity,Evil looking vampire tattoo picture

Vampire tattoos growing in popularity

Vampires continue to be a fascinating theme to a lot of people, and as always, if people like something, they end up getting it tattooed on their body if they're into tattooing.

Surprisingly, there are a lot of styles of vampire tattoos, with everything from Hollywood vampires, celebrity vampires, just old evil vampires, to vampire fang bites, which come with dripping blood and everything associated with it.

A lot of the vampire tattoo images, when it's of a vampire head, usually will have the vampire in a state of just finishing a feeding, with the blood dripping down the chin thing going.

Twilight series generating new vampire interest

Of course a lot of the resurgence in vampire interest comes from the popular Stephenie Meyer Twilight book series, which has become a cult phenomenon for readers, and increasingly for moviegoers.

That has generated TV knockoffs, including True Blood, which is a much darker exploration of the vampire genre, and has its own small, but dedicated following.

Parrot Tattoo Design and combination of color

Parrot Tattoo Design

Parrot tattoo designs are among the more colorful tattoos, and rightly so. While I prefer the darker tattoos, as they seem to really look at stand up much better, and you can appreciate the quality much more, in the case of tattoos of parrots, it's one of the few tattoo themes where color adds to it, rather than takes away from it.

Another thing about parrot tattoos is they're never inked on alone, they always include some object of some type with them, as a parrot alone just doesn't work. Other animals or birds will work at times by themselves, but a parrot seems to need something, even if just a branch to stand on, to look right.

And speaking of branches, that's be far the overall choice of a prop to go along with the parrot. The only thing that surprised me there is I thought I would find more parrots flying, as they have great color and look great.

But probably because of the body shape of the parrot, it goes good on legs and arms, which aren't conducive to flying images. There is one where the parrot looks like it's just landing on a branch or spreading its wings, and you'll be able to see what I mean there.

Still, when we observe parrots, for the most part it's while they are perched on something, so it's understandable why that's the main parrot tattoo design people want.

If you want a tattoo that looks good with color, a parrot is definitely one way you can choose to go, as it looks great, as you can see below in the parrot tattoo photos.

Parrot as Pirate Tattoos

Of course when you think of parrots, one of the things you also think of are pirates. But rather than include a parrot sitting on the shoulder of a pirate, let's look at a couple of tattoos where the parrot is a pirate.
Parrot as Pirate Tattoo

This parrot as a pirate tattoo is great. While it isn't colorful, the addition of the obligatory pirate's patch, along with a peg leg is priceless. Really a fun tattoo.

In contrast, the parrot pirate tattoo below that one looks great with the patch, but instead of a peg leg, that one includes a cool pirates hat. And how about those not-so-obvious pirate clothes on the lower one? Either one of these parrot tattoos work great.
Pirate Parrot Tattoo Photo

Parrot on Branch

I'm not sure if this is a parrot or cockatoo, but I liked it so included it.

What's really good about this one is the design. While making it wouldn't have been that difficult, applying it in a way the ink wouldn't run and blend it together was. That in itself makes it a good tattoo.

But the lines, look and color also help it stand out and be compelling.
Parrot tattoo on leg

The coloring of this parrot tattoo isn't anything to brag about, but it is nicely done in the sense of the way the tattoo artist scaled it according to the shape of the leg it's inked on.

Even the branch is done well in that way, and it flows down the leg in a way that allows a nice symmetry.
Tattoo Photo of Parrot on Leg
Green Parrot Tattoo

This parrot tattoo struck me with the deep green in it, which stands out nicely, but the hues of the green are great too, as they mix together.

The colorful head, neck and stomach of the parrot really are done well, and even though contrast in color greatly, somehow blend in a way that it doesn't interfere with each other.
Parrot Tattoo with Nice Background

Some people get tattoo like this and keep them as is, while others color in the backgrounds. I don't know if this tattoo is completed or not, but if it is, it's great with the background just like it is.

I really like it when tattoo artists create these types of lines, and to me it really helps the main image stick out nicely, while allowing us to see it relates to a particular environment.
Parrot Tattoo on Back Shoulder
Parrot tattoo in middle of flowers and bushes

While many of these parrot tattoos involve bright colors, this one works great for just the opposite reason.

The subtle browns and greens, and even the way the parrot seems to be casually looking back, adds to a relaxed atmosphere the parrot seems to be enjoying.
Tattoo of Parrot centered in flowers and reeds
Bright, Loud, Colorful Parrot Tattoo

The parrot tattoo below has everything you would think of in terms of our assumptions and imaginations of what a parrot looks like, and it sure emphasizes it's terrific colors in this tattoo.

I hope the person wearing this doesn't mind attention, because its loudness will ensure you get attention, whether you want it or not.
Colorful Parrot Tattoo
Orange Parrot Tattoo

If the last parrot tattoo was loud in its red color, this one is loud in its orange color, and the detail on this, along with all the colors, is extraordinary.

I would have liked to have seen the entire tattoo, which includes what looks like a pirate whose shoulder the parrot is sitting on.
Colorful, full back parrot tattoo

This last parrot tattoo puts all the elements of a great image and design together, and has it all.

To me it's probably way too much, but I included it to show all the various types of additions to a parrot, along with the colors, you can have with a parrot tattoo.

You could go to any area of this tattoo and get ideas for something a little less obvious and extravagant. Either way, it's still a great tattoo, and a very difficult one to make.
Full Back Colorful Parrot Tattoo
Final thoughts on parrot tattoos

I hope you enjoyed this look at the variety of ways, designs and colors you can include when being inked with a parrot tattoo.

As you can see, you can be very subtle and look very good, while at the same time let it all hang out with the amazing colors a parrot represents, and really look like an artists' canvass.
